FORMER NFF PRESIDENT, AMAJU PINNICK FIGHTS SINGER, DAVIDO OVER $94,000 PERFORMANCE FEE

Former NFF President, Amaju Pinnick is currently at war with popular Nigerian musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as  Davido for failing to honour his show ‘Warri Again’ after he was paid $94,600.

Pinnick called the musician out on stage during the event while stating that Davido disrespected Warri for not coming to their show after receiving such an amount to perform.

The former President of the NFF and member of the Organising Committee for FIFA expressed his disappointment in the Superstar’s absence at the event which held on Friday, 6th of October.

Davido was according to Amaju paid $94,600 for his performance at the event and a chartered plane was arranged to convey him and his team to the state.

Davido who was intended to be the headline act was eventually replaced with “Evien” crooner Shallipopi

But in a series of tweets on his X handle, Davido said he informed the organizers of the “Warri Again” show months ago that he will not be making it but they continued to promote the show using his name.

Davido apparently attacking the former NFF President, also said if he was to do any refunds, he will send the money to any football charity organization.

He apologised to his fans in Warri promising to bring a “Timeless” show to the city soon.
